Nassau Teen Caught With Stolen Gun, Drugs: Police
The 18-year-old was carrying a duffel bag with five clear plastic bags of marijuana, a bottle of codeine and 85 oxycodone pills, police say.

UNIONDALE, NY - An 18-year-old Uniondale man was arrested on Sunday after he was caught with a stolen gun and drugs in Uniondale.
On Wednesday, April 20, a 17-year-old girl went to the home of Manuel Espinal, to retrieve clothes and a cell phone she had left behind, police said.
Espinal threw the girl's clothes outside, but refused to give her the cell phone, police said.

After the girl became "alarmed" when she saw Espinal place a handgun into a duffel bag and run upstairs, she called police from a neighbor’s home before Espinal ran away, police said.
Upon arrival, police found the black duffel bag containing a loaded .45 caliber Remington model 1911R handgun (which was reported stolen from Hampton Virginia on June 26, 2015) and a loaded .9mm Highpoint model C9 handgun, police said.

Also recovered were five clear plastic bags containing a brownish green leafy substance believed to be marijuana, a bottle containing a purple liquid believed to be codeine and 85 pills with the number “5” and the letter “r” believed to be oxycodone, police said.
On Sunday, Espinal surrendered to the Nassau County Police Department, police said.
He is being charged with fourth and seventh degree criminal possession of a controlled substance and two counts of criminal possession of a firearm, police said.
