VIDEO: Veterans Gather for Memorial Ceremony at Eisenhower

Veterans, friends and family members gathered at the Veterans Memorial at Saturday for a "Wall of Honor" ceremony to add new names to those who have served in the armed forces.

The Nassau County Veterans Monument Fund invites all veterans throughout the United States, living or deceased, the opportunity to have a place on the "Wall of Honor."

If requested, a biography of 50 words or less is housed on the tower. those who are interested in having a loved one's name added should call 516-804-5802. Proof of service and a $100 donation is required.
