• Broome Men Arrested After Series of Crimes in Binghamton (wicz.com) — A 22-year-old Endicott resident and a Binghamton man face multiple felony and misdemeanor charges after several recent robberies and assaults in Binghamton, including knife attacks and an e-bike robbery. Endicott readers may recognize the suspect's name as police detail how each incident unfolded and the serious counts now pending in Broome County court. 
• Eugene F. (Lefty) Hamlin (pucedofuneralhome.com) — Endicott residents are invited to honor longtime IBM retiree Eugene F. "Lefty" Hamlin, 96, whose funeral will be held Saturday, October 3 at Leon Pucedo Funeral Home on Watson Boulevard in Endicott. Family and friends may visit there an hour before the service, with entombment to follow later in Vestal Hills Memorial Park.
