Farmingdale Village Prepares For Phase 3 Reopening
Restaurants will be able to host indoor dining at half capacity when Phase 3 of the state's reopening goes into effect Wednesday.

FARMINGDALE, NY — Long Island is on target to enter Phase 3 of the state's coronavirus reopening plan Wednesday. Farmingdale Village officials are preparing for the next phase, which will allow restaurants to reopen indoor dining at 50 percent capacity. Nail salons, massage therapy and some recreational facilities will also reopen.
"This is great progress and we are thrilled to welcome back so many more merchants!," Farmingdale Village Mayor Ralph Ekstrand wrote in a news release. "Similar to Phase 1 and 2, everyone should follow and adhere to new protocols for public health and safety. We are all in this together - supporting / helping others, and adapting to the ongoing phased-in openings and 'new normal' as we move ahead to brighter days!"
