Fire Breaks Out At East Farmingdale Motel

EAST FARMINGDALE, NY - The East Farmingdale Fire Department responded early Wednesday morning (at 1:22 a.m.) to the call of a working fire at the Hollywood Motel on 400 Route 109. The fire appeared to be coming from the second floor of a vacant structure.

Firefighters extinguished the fire in less than two hours. The Farmingdale Fire Department Rescue Squad, the South Farmingdale Fire Department and the North Lindenhurst Fire Department all responded as well.

No injuries were reported.
