BETHPAGE, NY — Irene Haber, who was nurse for the United States Army and also worked at Central General Hospital (now Plainview Hospital) for many years, recently turned 100 years old. Haber, who lives in a senior community in Bethpage, was honored with a drive-by celebration at her home.
