The 24-year-old man "failed to negotiate" a traffic circle Saturday morning, police say.

BETHPAGE, NY – A 24-year-old man was killed when his car went airborne and crashed into the woods and down a ravine near Bethpage State Park Saturday morning.

State Police say they received a call from a bicyclist at about 6:30 a.m. reporting that a vehicle had crashed off Bethpage State Parkway and into the woods.

An investigation revealed that a 2017 Honda Accord being driven by Tal Itzhak Levy was traveling north on the parkway when Levy failed to negotiate the traffic circle located at the northern terminus of the parkway.
