No. 78: Spend Time at Allen Park
It's the next activity on our list of 100 things to do in Farmingdale.
Summer has officially started, it's a perfect time to enjoy the various amenities offered at on Motor Avenue.
The park has activities for residents of all ages: two playgrounds, enclosed tennis courts, multi-use fields used for baseball, football, lacrosse and soccer, as well as basketball and handball courts.
For those who still want to enjoy the park without playing a high intensity sport, a walking trail around the perimeter of the property is also available.

Those who wish to play on the tennis courts can't book a court more than one hour before their arrival. To make a reservation call the park's administration office at (516) 755-1842.
To play on any of the mult-use fields, a permit is required. To book a time and get a permit call the parks department at (516) 797-4127.
