Son Of Farmingdale FDNY Chief Killed In 9/11 Promoted: Report
Peter Ganci III is now a captain, according to a report. His father, Peter Ganci, was killed in the collapse of the World Trade Center.
BROOKLYN, NY — Peter Ganci III was promoted to FDNY captain on Thursday, amNewYork reported. He is the son of the late FDNY Chief of Department Peter Ganci, of Farmingdale, who was killed in the collapse of the World Trade Center during the 9/11 terrorist attacks.
Ganci III was promoted to captain at the Christian Cultural Center in Canarsie, Brooklyn, with his mother, Kathleen, who was sitting with her numerous grandchildren and Ganci’s brother, Christopher, who is also one of New York’s Bravest, in attendance according to amNewYork.
