2 Queens Men Arrested In Connection With Fatal Overdose: NCPD

Police say an investigation into the death of a man from Nassau led them to arresting the two.

An investigation into a fatal overdose led Nassau County detectives to arrest two Queens men, police said.

According to police, an investigation into a fatal overdose of a man in a Woodmere home led to the arrest of Piero Russotto, 46, and Alexandro D'Angelo, 55, both of the same address on Myrtle Avenue.

Police say that Narcotics/Vice Squad detectives arranged to meet D'Angelo at a location in Queens at 4 p.m. on Aug. 29. When they did, he was placed under arrest. An investigation also led to the arrest of Russotto, police said.

Russotto is charged with third-degree criminal possession of a controlled substance and third-degree criminal sale of a controlled substance. D'Angelo is charged with two counts of third-degree criminal possession of a controlled substance. They are both scheduled to be arraigned on Aug. 30 in First District Court in Hempstead.
