2-Year-Old Nassau Boy Seriously Hurt After Falling Out Window

Police say the boy fell out of a second-story window and landed on a cement driveway, seriously injuring his head.

A 2-year-old boy was seriously injured after falling out of a window in his home on Sunday night.

According to police, around 10:50 p.m., the boy climbed the stairs of his home on Ivanhoe Place in Valley Stream and fell out of a second-story window a short time later. The boy landed on the cement driveway below.

The boy, who News 12 identified as Zuhayr Qureshi, was rushed to a nearby hospital where he was admitted for head trauma. He is currently listed in stable condition.

“It literally happened like a spur of the moment,” the boy’s uncle Moheeb Ahmed told News 12.
