Cops: Employee Made Fake Bomb Threat at Lawrence Supermarket
Woman called Brach's Supermarket and claimed there was a bomb in the building, police said.

A Manhattan woman called in a bomb threat at a Five Towns supermarket where she worked, according to Nassau County Police.
Cops said Kristal Huff-Rivers, 20, called Brach’s Supermarket in Lawrence and said, “There’s a bomb in the building, evacuate” three times.

The incident happened at 8:20 p.m. Wednesday, cops said.
Later on, Huff-Rivers was in a break room at the store and admitted to a coworker that she was the person who had called in the threat, police said.

Huff-Rivers was taken into custody and charged with first-degree falsely reporting an incident. She was arraigned Thursday at First District Court in Hempstead.
