LAWRENCE, NY – Numerous fire departments battled a blaze that destroyed a Nassau home Friday morning.
The fire started shortly after 9 a.m. at 285 Breezyway in Lawrence, according to the Lawrence-Cedarhurst Fire Department.
"Thankfully the homeowner was evacuated and no serious injuries were reported," the fire department said in a post on its Facebook page.
