Inwood Back to School Day Set for Saturday

Inwood Park will host the first annual Inwood Day and Back to School Day this Saturday.

Five Towns Community Chest and Legis. Carrié Solages will partner to host a community barbecue at Inwood Park from 12 p.m. to 3 p.m. Saturday.

In his first year representing Inwood as a Nassau County Legislator, Solages organized the the event as part of a community outreach effort in one of the oldest communities in the region.

The barbecue is free for all to attend and will offer food and music. Teens and adults can play basketball with Solages as a special guest teammate or play soccer with the Inwood Soccer Club.
