WOODMERE, NY — A man was injured when he fell through a roof he was working on. Nassau police the incident happened just before 10:30 a.m. Monday at a residence on Lafayette Place. The 27-year-old victim was lying on the ground, after tumbling from the third-floor roof, when officers arrived. He suffered head and neck injuries and was taken to a nearby hospital for treatment, authorities said. Police are investigating.
