BELLEROSE, NY — A Bellerose man injured two Nassau police officers while resisting arrest after he urinated on the property of a 7-Eleven he was banned from, police said.

Officers were called to the 7-Eleven, at 250-50 Jericho Turnpike, Bellerose, for a disturbance around 12:50 a.m. Tuesday, police said. A male employee told police that Amrit Bhatti, 25, was no longer allowed in the store, police said. Bhatti left the store but returned shortly after and urinated on the property, entered a 2014 BMW and drove away, police said.

Officers tried to stop Bhatti, who reversed into the 7-Eleven parking lot, police said. As officers removed Bhatti from his BMW, police said he was violent and combative, resulting in injuries to two officers.
