Man Stole Jewelry From Nassau Store On Thanksgiving
Police are looking for the man, who they say grabbed the jewelry and pushed a security guard out of the way in order to run off.

Nassau police are searching for a man who stole jewelry from a store in Valley Stream on Thursday and then pushed a security guard in order to make his getaway.
According to police, a 25-year-old man was working as a security guard at Kohl's, located at 1098 Green Acres Road, on Thursday at 7:30 p.m. when he saw a man steal $600 worth of jewelry and leave out the exit.
The security officer tried to stop the man at the door, but the robber pushed the security officer out of the way and ran east on Sidney Street.

The robber was 20 to 25 years old, 6 feet tall, wearing blue jeans, tan boots and a black backpack.
Police ask that if anyone has information regarding the this robbery to contact the Nassau County Crime Stoppers at 1-800-244-TIPS. All callers will remain anonymous.
