Nassau Man Cut Two Others In Fight Outside Restaurant: Police
Police say an argument inside the restaurant turned violent, and then continued outside after those involved were asked to leave.

A Valley Stream man was arrested Sunday after police say he assaulted two people at a restaurant.
According to police, Jose Alvarez, 54, of Carrol Avenue, got into an argument with an unknown man inside of La Perla De Oriente Restaurente, located at 22 West Merrick Road in Valley Stream. The argument escalated, police said, and Alvarez hit the man with a bottle. Both Alvarez and the man were asked to leave.
Outside the restaurant, police say the fight continued. Police say Alvarez swung at a 33-year-old man with a sharp object, cutting his ear, and also sliced a 36-year-old man, cutting his cheek. Alvarez then fled the scene, police said.
