Nassau Man Threatened To Kill Florida Cops: Police
Police say he had been harassing police officers in Florida for years.

A Valley Stream man was arrested Wednesday afternoon and charged with harassing a Florida police department.
According to police, Robert Shemanski, 38, of Wood Lane, sent a Facebook message was sent on Tuesday to WESH 2 News in Florida, stating that he was going to kill a West Palm Beach police sergeant. After an investigation, Nassau police arrested Shemanski.
Further investigation showed that Shemanski had been calling the West Palm Beach Police Department for about two years and harassing them, police said.

Shemanski was charged with first-degree harassment. He is scheduled to be arraigned on Thursday in First District Court in Hempstead.
