The Peninsula Kiwanis Club presented its annual Louis Costa Humanitarian Award on Feb. 29 to Nassau County Police Department Fourth Precinct Officer Robert Chimienti.
Town of Hempstead Councilman Anthony J. Santino, Councilman James Darcy and Nassau County Legislator Howard J. Kopel joined the club during its 40th year of presenting this award to a local stakeholder.
