Michelle was a single parent for over fifteen years & would give anyone whatever they needed or wanted, even the shirt off her back. Michelle was everything to her kids. Oceanside, one of the hardest hit areas by Hurricane Sandy. The Braccos lost everything on the 1st floor of their home, including their two cars, due to the storm.

It is suspected that contractors working on the house moved the supplied generator into the garage, & accidentally closed the garage door. The running generator filled the house with carbon monoxide.  Anthony arrived home to an unimaginable situation. Anthony writes, "Upon walking into the house, I found our cat, Skittles, & our golden-doodle, Zoey, both dead. I walked into the kitchen & found my mother on the kitchen floor; totally unconscious. I carried her outside & tried to give her CPR; she did not respond. Our neighbor called 911, & she was taken to the hospital where they pronounced her dead." Elizabeth was away at school at this time.

The Bracco family needs help. Their mother had no life insurance & hardly any money saved. Any money saved was used to pay the funeral expenses. Insurance doesn't cover the cost of most of the damages. Anthony and Elizabeth are currently living with friends & would like to have a place of their own to call home, as well as help paying college bills.

As a way to help the Bracco Family as efficiently as possible, the Wish Upon A Hero Foundation is overseeing this wish. Funds raised will be transferred to the Michelle Bracco Fund(TaxID 46-1453388) which has been created to support the financial needs of Anthony and Elizabeth.
