• East End communities continue to deal with flooding after nor'easter (newsbreak.com) — Flooding is still affecting Flanders, where a boat ramp off Point Road and its dock remained underwater Monday, leaving the parking lot recently covered in water. Residents and officials describe lingering high tides across Riverhead and Southampton, and urge drivers in Flanders and nearby communities to avoid flooded areas because of hidden hazards like debris or live wires. 
• Riverhead real estate transfers reported Sept. 25, 2026 (riverheadlocal.com) — A Flanders property at 157 Pleasure Drive sold this spring for $450,000, one of 11 recent East End real estate transfers totaling nearly $9.9 million. The report lists buyers, sellers, closing dates and sale prices across Riverhead, Jamesport, Wading River and nearby hamlets, offering a snapshot of current local housing market activity.
