NEW YORK, NY — March 2026 — The 100 Black Men of Eastern New York, Inc. proudly announces that its Founding President, Phil Andrews, was honored at a recent International Women’s Day Conference on March 7th, 2026 at Hofstra University Student Center, recognizing his longstanding commitment to uplifting communities, supporting women-led initiatives, and advancing inclusive leadership.
The recognition underscores Andrews’ decades of service and his collaborative work with women-led organizations across New York, where he has consistently supported initiatives focused on empowerment, entrepreneurship, mentorship, and community development.

Biographical Overview: Phil Andrews
Phil Andrews is a respected business leader, nonprofit executive, and community advocate whose impact spans across Long Island and the greater New York region.
- He serves as President of the Long Island African American Chamber of Commerce, which has grown significantly under his leadership and is recognized as the largest African American chamber in New York State.
- He is the Founding President of the 100 Black Men of Eastern New York, Inc., the first new downstate New York chapter in decades.
- He is also the Founding President of the African American Small Business Foundation, Inc., and President-Emeritus of the Black Public Relations Society-New York.
Andrews’ career includes numerous accolades and recognitions, including:
- Named U.S. Small Business Administration Small Business Champion (2019) for downstate New York.
- Repeatedly recognized on City & State New York’s Power and Trailblazer lists for his regional influence and leadership.
