Long Island Arts Council at Freeport to Host Annual Arty Party Fundraiser Event Honoring Local Community Leaders
Fundraiser to support artistic expression, education, and cultural enrichment accessible to everyone in the community. The Long Island Arts Council at Freeport (LIACF) is pleased to announce its annual Arty Party Fundraiser. The event will take place on Sunday, October 4, 2026, from 11:00 AM to 3:00 PM at The Bayview Restaurant in Freeport, NY. This signature event serves as a vital fundraiser to support artistic expression, arts education, and cultural enrichment throughout Freeport and its surrounding communities.
The 2026 Arty Party will feature an awards ceremony where the LIACF board will recognize four distinguished individuals and an organization for their significant contributions to the local cultural landscape:
- Kirk Larsen: The Arts Recognition (ARTY) Tribute Award - Jack Holly: The Founders Award - Greg Ingino: The Community Service Award - Toby Walker: The Alexander Schanzer Memorial Smart with Art Award - Holocaust Memorial & Tolerance Center: Education Through the Arts Award

Proceeds from the event directly fund the Council’s mission, with 100% of contributions dedicated to maintaining diverse and accessible year-round programming and services for the community.
