Adelphi Students Rocked the Vote on October 4 in the Performing Arts Center

WHAT:
Since 2004, Adelphi University has had its own student-run voter drive, V.O.T.E.R. (Voicing Our Thoughts Exercising Our Rights). V.O.T.E.R.'s mission is to eliminate every obstacle that prevents students from voting in the upcoming election. The group believes that once you become informed about the issues at stake in this election and the impact it has on your future, you will exercise your right to vote.

Students gathered for a rockin' great night with live bands and for a variety of performances and music by Adelphi students and alumni (creedence, soul and blues, contemporary, funk, and rap). The Nassau County Board of Elections was in attendance to assist in voter registration and absentee ballot applications. No admission charge. Plus free food and giveaways for attendees.
