
A teenage boy was robbed on a Roosevelt street early Monday morning, according to Nassau County Police.
The victim, 16, was near East Clinton Avenue and Cottage Place at 12:30 a.m. when two men approached him, cops said. The duo, one of whom had a black handgun, demanded the victim’s cellphone, police said.
The victim cooperated and handed over his iPhone 6 and $10 in cash, police said. The pair also rifled through the teen’s pockets but found nothing to take, cops said.

The men shoved the teen to the ground and fled west on East Clinton Avenue in a white, two-door car with a rear spoiler and tinted windows, cops said.

The teenager was uninjured in the incident, cops said.
Detectives are asking anyone with information to call Nassau County Crime Stoppers at 1-800-244-TIPS. All callers will remain anonymous.
