County Clerk Thanks Interns
The clerk's office summer internship program offers area college students interested in government the opportunity to obtain valuable experience in many facets of public service.
Nassau County Clerk Maureen O’Connell was pleased to welcome Theodore Bellas, Claire Colahan, Katelin Foley, Thomas Martis and Elizabeth Slattery of Garden City as summer interns.
Theodore worked in the land recording division and is a student at SUNY Albany. Claire, a student at Duke University, and Elizabeth, a student at Georgetown University, worked in the clerk’s division of court records. Katelin is a student at CUNY School of Law and worked in the licensing and receiving department. Thomas is a student at Boston College and worked both in the clerk’s administrative division and the land recording division.

Each year, interns assist in the administrative, land recording, court records and receiving divisions of the office where these young men and women gain first hand experience while serving their community.
