Hicks Nurseries Flower & Garden Show: Create a Garden Masterpiece

The Hicks Nurseries Flower & Garden Show—the largest in the northeast—is featuring blooming gardens inspired by famous artists. Think of Gauguin’s lush Tahitian landscapes, Grant Wood’s austere “American Gothic,” Georgia O’Keefe’s exuberant flowers and Van Gogh’s iconic sunflowers.

Hicks will pay homage to these and many other artists, hoping to inspire home gardeners to Create a Garden Masterpiece, at the 22nd annual Flower & Garden Show running from Friday, Mar. 9, through Sunday, Mar. 18.

Visitors will stroll through garden displays that recreate the feelings evoked by artists. There’ll be a vegetable gardening display in containers and landscape settings, an outdoor living area for entertaining family and friends, and an enchanted fairy garden with a towering waterfall.
