The Garden City Library will host "Mad Science of Long Island" on March 3. This program will enable children to build a "Mad Science Technicolor Blender to demonstrate Newton's color wheel invention," according to the library.

The program will be held from 1 to 2 p.m. for children in kindergarten through second grade, and 2:15 to 3:15 p.m. for those in third to fifth grade.

Registration begins for both age groups on February 13 at 9:30 a.m. Funding is courtesy of the Friends of the Garden City Library. Priority is given to GCPL careholders.
