Local Artists Exhibit at Historical Society

The Garden City Historical Society will hold its fifth annual professional art show Saturday and Sunday, Nov. 13-14, at the Garden City Historical Society Museum, 109 Eleventh Street, 1 to 3 p.m.

The historical society's 2010 art show, "Garden City in Art: a Mixed Media Exhibit," features 12 local artists displaying artworks in sculpture, photography, ink, pastels, watercolors and oils. This year's featured artists include Suzie Alvey, Doug Anderson, Jock Anderson, Mary Jane Caldwell, Adriana Seviroli-Caliari, Susana Eqües Cerruti, Noel Darvie, Peter Langan, George Mamos, Rose Pellicano, Nancy Peretz and Arleen Rueth Urban.

Please come celebrate and support these Garden City artists, and enjoy a lovely visit to the Garden City Historical Society Museum, a preserved and restored 1872 structure which was one of the original homes built in A.T. Stewart's planned community of Garden City.
