Residents Approve Garden City School Budget By Wide Margin
The 2024-2025 budget passed with 1,125 yes votes.
GARDEN CITY, NY — Voters passed the Garden City school budget on Tuesday. The $133,987,366 budget passed 1,125 to 311.
The 2024-2025 budget represents an increase of 2.84 percent over last year's budget. The tax levy is 2.54 percent (with STAR benefits), the maximum allowable tax levy increase.
Joseph Sileo (1,004) and Kristen Pappas (851) were elected as Board of Education trustees.
