Officers arrested a 54-year-old woman from Queens on May 18 for the theft of more than $1,000 in merchandise from Lord & Taylor. She was charged with grand larceny.

Garden City detectives are investigating the theft of a package from the front stoop of a Meadow Street residence on May 18.

Officers arrested a 57-year-old woman from Queens on May 19 for the theft of merchandise valued at $1,280 from Lord & Taylor. She was charged with grand larceny.

An officer stopped a vehicle for erratic driving on Oxford Boulevard and Merillon Avenue on May 20. Upon investigation, the driver, a 23-year-old from East Meadow, was arrested for DWI and driving on the wrong side of the road.

Officers reported two arrests at Lord & Taylor on May 20. A 51-year-old woman from Plainview was arrested for the theft of merchandise valued at $400; a 50-year-old woman from Massapequa for the theft of merchandise valued at $1,360.

On May 21, a pair of sunglasses was removed from a vehicle parked at a First Street residence, a vehicle was entered at a Kensington Road residence with no loss reported and a vehicle was entered at a Chester Avenue residence with no loss reported.

A window to a vehicle parked in a Ring Road Parking Field was found damaged on May 22 and two iPads were stolen from within.
