Garden City Students Win Adelphi Leadership Prize

GARDEN CITY, NY — Six Garden City High School students have been named recipients of the Adelphi University Prize for Leadership. Congratulations to seniors Ian Bailey, Erin Brennan, Adam Hadjipateras, Paige Matarazzo, Timothy O’Hanlon and Ryan Padala for this extraordinary achievement.

Each year, Adelphi University recognizes Garden City students for exceptional academic performance, community service involvement and leadership qualities. Honorees are selected based on a rigorous application that they complete during their junior year that outlines their endeavors in these areas.

The students will each receive a monetary award as well as the opportunity to register for two tuition–free courses at Adelphi University. A virtual reception will be held this fall.
