Garden City Youth promises a strong future for FLG Lacrosse!

It was an unbelievable summer season for the 2023/2024 FLG Select Girls! The team was lead by a strong group of Garden City girls who clicked on and off the field. Kendal Morris, Kaitlyn Cole, Riley Shaw, Frankie Gray and Gabriella Sandoval were all critical parts of the team’s success. Kendal, Frankie, Riley and Gabriella dominated the midfield and put the ball in the back of the net when their team depended on them the most, while Kaitlyn kept her opponents far from the cage defensively. Director Robyn Pastuch said of the team “This group of young girls is so fun to watch play, they really worked well together and grew together as a team. We have a lot of talent here.” We can’t wait to see what’s to come from this group in the future.

Try out Information:

Boys Nassau and Suffolk 3rd – 4th Grade
Team try-outs for Boys teams (2024-2025) will take place September 27th, from 2:00-4:00pm at Cedar Creek Park in Seaford. Please complete the on-line registration form on the FLG website www.flglacrosse.com

Girls Suffolk 3rd – 8th Grade
Team try-outs for all Girls Teams (2017 - 2019) will take place on September 20th at Comsewogue HS in Port Jefferson. Please complete the on-line registration form on the FLG website www.flglacrosse.com

Girls Nassau 3rd – 8th Grade
Team try-outs for all Girls Teams (2017 - 2019) will take place on September 27th at Cedar Creek Park in Seaford. Please complete the on-line registration form on the FLG website www.flglacrosse.com

HS Boys Nassau and Suffolk 9th – 11th Grade
Team try-outs for Boys 2016 and 2017 teams will take place on Tuesday, November 25th at the Hofstra Bubble. Try-outs are one day only so please complete the on-line registration form on the FLG website www.flglacrosse.com
