A Garden City High School student was named a winner of the Youth Leadership Award, presented by Sen. Kemp Hannon.
Alexis Gogh was honored in the "Community" category for her outstanding leadership.
The award is open to all high school sophomores and juniors in the Sixth Senate District and honors leadership in academics, athletics, community, school, and overall categories.
