Group Guitar Classes for Beginners
The Music Academy of Garden City is now offering a Guitar FOUNDATIONS Class for beginners starting March 2015
About
Our Guitar Foundations Class is designed as an introduction to the guitar and geared towards kids with little or no guitar background. Students will learn the fundamentals of playing guitar in a small class (maximum 6). Classes will focus on right and left hand technique, using a pick, learning open chords, strumming, and more. This seven week course is perfect for beginners as preparation for one-on-one lessons, but allows students to learn in a group atmosphere and low pressure setting. Our small class size also ensures that your child will receive as much individual attention as possible.

- Classes meet weekly for 50 minutes and run from Saturday, March 7 – Saturday, April 25
(There is no class on April 4) - A total of 7 classes will be held*
- 10AM or 2PM class times available
- Open to ages 7-12
- 7 week class, $189 (Registration fee included)
- 7 week class including an acoustic guitar, $299
(Includes a NEW 3/4 Size Acoustic Guitar, case, and picks)
* Class Dates: March 7, 14, 21, 28, April 11, 18, 25; please note there is no class on April 4 due to Spring Break. There are no make-up dates offered for group classes. There are no refunds on tuition or instruments. Payment is due upon registration.
