Hofstra Debate to Change NCC Classes, Parking

The college will cancel most classes on Monday. Check here to see if your class is scheduled.

Because of the Presidential Debate at nearby Hofstra University next Monday, Nassau Community College will be operating on a modified schedule that day.

On debate day, Sept. 26, some classes at NCC will be canceled. Classes that meet on Monday and another day during the week are canceled. But classes that meet only on Mondays are still scheduled to take place. Canceling those Monday-only classes, the school said, would be equivalent to students missing an entire week's worth of work.

Classes that meet in the Physical Education Complex will not meet, as the complex is being used to stage security for the debate.
