Little Flower Appoints Nikant Ohri as its Next Chief Financial Officer
Garden City resident has dedicated his career to making a tangible impact in the nonprofit sector

Little Flower Children and Family Services of New York (Little Flower), a nonprofit social services organization serving New York City and Long Island, welcomed Nikant Ohri, CPA, to the senior executive team as the organization’s next Chief Financial Officer.
“I have had the fortune to dedicate my career to making a tangible impact in the nonprofit sector,” said Mr. Ohri. “I am pleased to now join Little Flower, an organization that has served the community for nearly 100 years.”
“I look forward to collaborating with my peers and contributing to the vision of the CEO and Board to ensure operational efficiency and robust fiscal stewardship to deliver the most value for the people we serve,” said Mr. Ohri.

Little Flower’s President and CEO Corinne Hammons noted Mr. Ohri’s deep and varied financial expertise and his experience collaborating and innovating in the social services sector as stand-out qualities that will deliver value for the organization.
“Nikant knows as well as anyone in our field how to balance immediate fiscal priorities with forward-looking plans to successfully guide the organization during a time of rapid change,” said Ms. Hammons. “We are thrilled to welcome Nikant to the team and continue fortifying our financial position as we reach our 100th anniversary.”

“The Board is pleased to welcome Nikant to Little Flower and to partner with him to ensure the organization’s continued growth and financial sustainability,” said Craig O’Neill, Treasurer of Little Flower’s Board of Directors and Chief Executive Officer of Hilton Capital Management, a Long Island-based asset management firm. “His expertise in accounting, auditing and real estate development, as well as his collaborative leadership approach, will be strategic differentiators for the team.”
Mr. Ohri brings to Little Flower more than two decades of fiscal management experience within the nonprofit sector. Most recently, he served as the Chief Financial Officer at Guadenzia, Inc., a nonprofit organization delivering substance use and co-occurring disorders treatment. Prior to this, Nikant was the Executive Vice President and Chief Financial Officer at ICL, a nonprofit serving New Yorkers with behavioral health needs. He also previously served as the Director of Finance at Family Residences and Essential Enterprises, Inc. (FREE). Nikant is a Certified Public Accountant and holds a Bachelor of Science in Accounting from the State University of Albany.
