Long Island Congresswoman Calls For Impeaching Trump
Congresswoman Kathleen Rice says Congress has a "moral obligation" to impeach the president. What do you think? Take our poll.

Long Island Congresswoman Kathleen Rice, a Democrat from Garden City, has officially joined other Congressional Democrats in calling for the impeachment of President Donald Trump.
After Special Counsel Robert Mueller said that his investigation did not exonerate the president, Rice took to Twitter to advocate removing Trump from office.
"Robert Mueller made it clear that it was [Department of Justice] policy, not a lack of evidence, that prevented him from charging the President with a crime," Rice wrote. "His hands were tied. But ours are not. Congress has full authority to hold the President accountable, and it's past time that we exercise it."

Last week, Rice made a similar claim, calling on her fellow Congress members to begin impeachment proceedings, saying it was their "moral obligation."I said it last week and I'll say it again now. Congress must begin an impeachment inquiry. We have a constitutional obligation to do so -- because no one is above the law.
