Man Caught Red-Handed Robbing Roosevelt Field Mall: Nassau Police
Police say he stole cash from a half-dozen different stores in the mall during the early morning hours on Wednesday.
A Hempstead man was arrested early Wednesday morning after police say he was caught robbing multiple stores in the Roosevelt Field Mall.
According to police, a security guard at the mall was looking at surveillance cameras when he saw a man entering several unauthorized areas of the mall around 3:50 a.m. The police were called, and a short time later they found the man who was seen on surveillance walking in the parking lot, police say.
Police stopped the man and identified him as Naeshaun Hall, 19, of Hempstead, and arrested him without incident. Police say they found a ski mask, a kitchen knife and a large sum of cash on him that was stolen from stores inside the mall.

Hall is charged with unlawful possession of a weapon and six counts of third-degree burglary. He is scheduled to be arraigned in First District Court in Hempstead on Thursday.
