According to police, a 34-year-old man was standing on East Gate Boulevard at Axinn Avenue when an unknown male approached him from behind and demanded cash while displaying a black knife. The robber grabbed the man's computer tablet out of his hand and fled on foot heading west on Zeckendorf Boulevard. There were no injuries reported.The robber was described as black, 6-foot-2, 190 pounds and 20-25 years old. He had a goatee and was wearing a red Yankee baseball cap, red T-shirt and black pants.Detectives are asking that anyone with information regarding this crime contact the Nassau County Crime Stoppers at 1-800-244-TIPS.
