Man Shot by Duo in Hempstead
The two men approached the man on bicycles and shot at him on Wednesday night, police say.
HEMPSTEAD, NY - A 19-year-old man was shot by two men on bicycles in Hempstead on Wednesday night, according to Nassau Police.
The man was standing on the corner of Elm Avenue and Laurel Avenue when the two men approached on bicycles, armed with a handgun, and fired at him at about 9:52 p.m., police said.
The man suffered a gunshot wound to his leg and was transported to a local hospital for treatment of his non-life threatening wound, police said.
