Man Shot And Left For Dead In Nassau Street

Nassau police are seeking the public's help to find a man wanted for a shooting that occurred in Uniondale Monday morning.

According to police, a call came in at 11:15 a.m. for a person who was shot on New York Avenue. When police arrived, they found a man who had been shot and took him to a nearby hospital.

Police say the shooter fled on foot in an unknown direction. He is described as a black man, 6 feet tall and about 150 pounds, wearing a blue and white jump suit.

Anyone with information about this shooting is asked to call Crime Stoppers at 1-800-244-TIPS. All callers will remain anonymous, and you could receive a cash reward if your information leads to an arrest.
