More Lifestyle Brands Make Debut at Roosevelt Field
Hackett London, Baldinini, and CHANEL Fragrance & Beauty opening in Neiman Marcus wing
Roosevelt Field, one of the country’s leading retail properties, will welcome renowned international brands Hackett London, Baldinini and CHANEL Fragrance & Beauty to its new two-level Neiman Marcus wing during the final months of 2016.
“We are excited to welcome Hackett London, Baldinini and CHANEL Fragrance & Beauty as part of the impressive collection of retailers already open in the beautiful and specially curated Neiman Marcus wing,” said Eric Sadi, Simon senior vice president of leasing. “These additions offer our most discerning shoppers the opportunity to explore global lifestyle brands representing the best of European heritage not found anywhere else in the country.”
Hackett of London’s first location in the U.S. opened in early October and occupies a 1,900 square-foot space in the Upper Level of the Neiman Marcus wing. The quintessential British menswear outfitter features its Mayfair and formal collections alongside a selected casual and accessories range. The store also houses its sportswear line including garments related to Hackett’s sponsorship with Aston Martin Racing. The façade of the new store is designed to resemble a Georgian townhouse and its interior highlights a selection of artwork by Jules de Goede, a Dutch artist well-known for his abstract and charcoal pieces.

Baldinini took its first steps in footwear over a century ago, making bespoke shoes entirely by hand. With over 100 flagship stores around the world, Baldinini will open one of its first stores in the U.S., bringing the company’s attention-getting creations to Roosevelt Field in November. The 1,800 square-foot space will incorporate the brand’s journey through made in Italy tradition and contemporary fashion messages via its line of women’s and men’s shoes, outerwear and accessories as well as handbags, watches and home fragrances.
“The footwear industry is experiencing a very positive moment in sales within the United States compared to sales elsewhere. This is the reason behind our choice to invest in this dynamic market. The American market is distinguished by an added value of the product itself; which is continuously updating and taking in new trends; while New York holds a leading and cutting-edge role,” declares Gimmi Baldinini, CEO of Baldinini.
