Nassau Community College, Hofstra Announce Closures Ahead of Thursday Storm
BREAKING: The colleges will be closed because of the heavy snow predicted for Thursday.
Both Nassau Community College and Hofstra University announced that they would be closed on Thursday due to the predicted snow storm.
The storm is predicted to drop as much as a foot of snow on parts of Long Island. Because of that, classes at both colleges are canceled.
NCC canceled all day and evening classes (including online classes), services and activities.

Hofstra also canceled all classes, and said that the administrative offices and Child Care Institute would also be closed. The campus library will be open from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m., and dining services will still be open.
