Nassau Police Searching For Bank Robber
BREAKING: The police are seeking the public's help in identifying and locating the robber.

Police are searching for a man who robbed a Nassau County bank Monday morning.
According to police, the man entered the Chase Bank at 136 Fulton Ave. in Hempstead at 11:47 a.m. on Monday. He approached the teller and passed him a demand note, which threatened the use of a handgun. However, no gun was displayed.
The teller complied and handed the robber an undisclosed amount of cash. Then the man fled the bank on foot in an unknown direction.

The robber is described as a black man, 25 to 34 years old, 6 feet, 1 inch tall and 180 pounds, unshaven, wearing a green and orange baseball cap, a gray hooded sweatshirt and dark sunglasses.
Police ask that anyone with information about this crime to call Crime Stoppers at 1-800-244-TIPS. All callers will remain anonymous.
