Long Island Swim School is the teaching arm of the nationally ranked Long Island Aquatic Club. Our Learn to Swim programs create strong, safe, and confident swimmers for life. With locations in Garden City and Syosset we train over 2,000 children each week at every swim level from Beginner to Olympian. Long Island Swim School offers swim lessons for children ages 2 - 14years old. The main emphasis of our programs is to teach children to swim correctly and develop essential water skills in a relaxed environment. Our goal driven and technique oriented approach is the key to your child's success. Through skill based quality teaching our students develop a joy for learning and a passion for swimming. At Long Island Swim School, we teach children to swim the same way the best in the world do. By using age-appropriate, proven techniques children build real skills in kick, pull, body position, and breath control. Our logical, consistent progression turns every fundamental—whether blowing bubbles or learning butterfly timing—into a building block for efficient, confident swimming. Our professional staff are swimmers and coaches with the knowledge to give your child the skills to achieve more than just water safety. We provide the best foundation possible for success. This Friday and Saturday, Garden City High School is presenting "Brighton Beach Memoirs" by Neil Simon at 7 p.m. There will be an additional performance on Thursday at 4 p.m. for staff and students. In order to help those in need, there will be special pricing for all shows. Thursday 4 p.m. <ul><li>Staff and Students Only $5</li><li>If you bring a food or clothing item for the Interfaith Nutrition Network (INN) the ticket will be complimentary. </li></ul>Friday and Saturday 7p.m. <ul><li>$10 general admission</li><li>$8 - students/seniors</li><li>$6 - G.O. card</li><li>$5 - staff</li><li>$5 for anyone who brings a food or clothing donation for the Interfaith Nutrition Network (INN) </li></ul>On Friday and Saturday, $5 tickets will be sold at the door to anyone who brings a donation for the Interfaith Nutrition Network (INN). We will be collecting nonperishable food, baby items and personal care items. A list of immediate needs include toothpaste, deodorant, razors, undergarments, umbrellas, diapers, pajamas, metro cards, towels, new twin sheets and new towels.
