Stewart Manor resident lands lead role in school play
Kaitlyn Stoyer will star as Mrs. Potts in Sacred Heart Academy's Beauty and the Beast

Kaitlyn Stoyer, a Stewart Manor resident and sophomore at Sacred Heart Academy, will star as Mrs. Potts in the school’s production of Disney’s Beauty and the Beast. This will be Kaitlyn’s 21st play having performed in Sacred Heart’s production of Oliver last year and for her previous schools and parish. Kaitlyn is a beautiful vocalist, plays piano and has participated in NYSSMA. In addition to her artistic endeavors, Kaitlyn excels academically with honor classes in American Literature, Global Studies, Music Theory and Trigonometry. She is a member of Sacred Heart’s successful Mock Trial team and says, “Sacred Heart Academy has instilled a confidence within me that I did not have before. I have an incredible support system here.” Kaitlyn volunteers at her local library and is an enthusiastic tour guide at Sacred Heart’s annual Open House.
