Two Queens Men Assaulted Bus Driver, Resisted Arrest: Police
BREAKING: Police say the pair chased the driver off the bus and assaulted him in a parking lot.

A pair of Queens men were arrested Wednesday evening after they allegedly assaulted a bus driver in the Roosevelt Field Mall parking lot.
According to police, Delroy Greaves, 20, of 208th Street, Queens, and Kevin Chavez, 20, of Spencer Avenue, Queens Village, got onto a NICE Bus at the Mineola bus terminal without paying. The bus driver, a 48-year-old man, continued his route to his last stop, which was the Roosevelt Field Mall bus terminal, located at 630 Old Country Road in Garden City, and let all the passengers off.
Police say that, as they were getting off the bus, Greaves and Chavez began to yell at the driver, and Greaves threw a can of beer at him. The driver pushed past the two and got into a nearby NICE transport car. Police say the two men began to kick the front passenger door of the car. When the driver got out to inspect the damage, police say that Greaves and Chavez began to punch him in the head. Greaves, who was carrying a skateboard, used it to hit the driver in the head. The driver suffered cuts and bruises to his head.
