The Garden City Parents for Kids website was launched to educate the public on the federal complaint filed on January 28, 2013 against Garden City School District and the Garden City Board of Education for disability discrimination and retaliation under the American with Disabilities Act.
Three families have chosen to publicly and candidly disclose their special education experience for their children, with a goal to make changes in educational programs for the rest of the disabled children in the Garden City community.
While we realize that not all will embrace our effort, the facts speak for themselves. The complaint is 62 pages long with over 300 paragraphs. We have provided a very small view into the complaint for your information.
